This webinar brought together 228 attendees, including job seekers, career experts, and industry leaders, eager to learn about the tech industry, discussing topics ranging from communicating strengths effectively to avoiding common CV mistakes.

Sarah Robinson, Director, Careers Consultant & Coach, kicked off the webinar by helping attendees understand the power of self-awareness in job applications. She emphasized that recruiters look beyond technical skills– they want candidates who can clearly articulate their strengths and how they add value.

Through real-world examples, she demonstrated how job seekers can tailor their messaging to align with employer expectations.

Next, Phil Sterne, a Coach, Mentor & Thinking Partner, shared a structured, step-by-step approach to crafting a standout CV.

He broke down the common pitfalls that cause CVs to be overlooked and provided clear strategies for improvement. Attendees gained insights into effective formatting, keyword optimization, and storytelling techniques that make a resume shine.

While attendees were focused on interviews and CVs, Ciaran Barry, an Executive Career Coach, addressed interview anxiety and the common hurdles.

His session focused on confidence-building techniques, the STAR method for structured responses, and strategies to handle tough interview questions. Attendees left with a clear framework to approach interviews with clarity and composure.

Wrapping up the webinar, Andy Nelson, The Positive Career Coach, tackled a challenge many professionals face, overthinking career decisions without taking action.

He shared a practical roadmap for breaking out of analysis paralysis, setting clear career goals, and taking decisive steps toward new opportunities.
