    Adela Mehic-Dzanic

    Adela Mehic-Dzanic is a Forbes featured female tech leader, frequent international speaker, and a WomenTech mentor. Originally from Bosnia, 7 years ago she moved to Austria with her husband and started building her career in Tech from scratch. Without any job, contacts and not knowing German language.

    Today, she works at the executive level of the IoT software company MAVOCO AG and serves as the VP of the Female Leaders Network of the WU Executive Academy (Business School of Vienna University of Economics) as well the VP of the Association of Business Women of B&H.

    In December 2020 she launched her own YouTube Channel – Making IT IN Austria, where she interviews real people who share a similar story like herself and who have made a successful career in Austria.She strongly believes in the power of networking and building long-lasting relationships for advancing one’s career and she had been very vocal about it through her extensive LinkedIn network.

    Adela’s mission for 2020 was to impact 1000 women and girls in IT and beyond with her career story. This experience allowed her to meet women from all walks of life, who are determined, ambitious, supportive and very often the only woman in the room.

    As Vice President of WU EA Female Leaders Network, she is committed to serving the global community of WU MBA Alumnae and finding the right tools to support them on taking their career to the next level. Under the motto “Together we are stronger!”.

    Desiree Jonek’s mantra is ‘Be the change you want to see in the world’. She is an expert in Social Innovation and especially passionate about Gender Equality & Diversity.

    She has +10 years international work experience in the digital media industry and in management and brand consulting, from Germany, to France, Scandinavia and Austria. Her strengths lie in strategic and hands-on development of digital and social business projects. She empowers corporates, start-ups and especially female founders with Design Thinking and systemic coaching methodology.

    In 2018, she decided to follow her professional vocation instead of the safe management career. To empower women* to dare more in their careers, she founded the mentoring platform WoMentor.at.     Fareen Shaikh

    With more than a decade of experience, Fareen Shaikh has wears many hats from a talent hunter, and career advisor. She has worked with international organizations both remote and co-located to develop their hiring processes, design job descriptions, review resumes of applicants, and screen them for their culture/values.
    Today, as the Director of Talent at Acework, she advocates remote work and coach’s professionals from varied backgrounds to gain a competitive edge as they apply for remote opportunities.

    Also as an independent remote career coach, her aim is to help experienced and first-time remote workers discover and ultimately do what they love.
