    Antonia Rinesch

My name is Antonia and I am responsible for Marketing, Projects and Events at the digital innovation portal Trending Topics. Since high school, I have lived in six different countries and after completing my master program in Lisbon, I finally decided to set foot in Vienna’s dynamic startup scene.

After half a year at the venture capital fund Speedinvest I moved forward to the media landscape and suddenly my every day life was all about tech, blockchain, crypto, startups, podcasts and video production. From day to day I gained insight in all different kinds of fields, managed the social media channels, co-launched a sustainability portal called Tech & Nature, created a whole new event series from scratch and even made my debut in front of the camera, moderating panels and events or interviewing important players of the industry.

I discovered new strengths and passions, my team became a sort of family and I never had a single boring day. At this year’s tech job fair, I want to talk about exactly this process of continuous growth, of challenging yourself with new and often unknown areas of responsibilities and of daring to jump into the deep end. I also want to talk about the future of work, how the pandemic changed everything and how the employee gains more and more power in the professional world.
