I am a mentoring enthusiast who believes that mentoring can be a key tool for everyone to succeed. Thanks to mentoring, I found my first job in the UK as a marketing executive, thanks to my second mentor I realised where my real passion lied. Now I work as a mentoring assistant at the University of Westminster where each year we match around a thousand students with mentors who have expertise in the areas of students’ professional interest. Additionally, I am a co-chair for the Mentoring and Support Group at Women of Westminster and, together with my colleague Saire Jones, am about to launch an internal mentoring scheme for colleagues. I hold Westminster Learning and Teaching Award for improving Westminster students’ experience at the University of Westminster and am a Top scorer for Gold Westminster Employability Award. I see helping others with improving their employability through mentoring as my mission, and as someone who holds degrees in Dentistry, Broadcasting journalism, and Business Management with Marketing hope to share my experience in finding your passion and a dream job rather earlier than later.
