    Hi, I’m Saloni Verma, an officer of the Indian Administrative Service officer, deeply committed to public service and driven by a passion for impactful governance. Hailing from New Delhi, I graduated with a Bachelor’s in English Literature from Hindu College, Delhi University, before venturing into my public service career. My  journey has taken me through diverse roles in Meghalaya, including Block Development Officer in Mylliem, Assistant Commissioner in Shillong, Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) in Sohra, and currently as Director of Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Executive Director of the Meghalaya Basin Management Agency, Additional Chief Executive Officer of the Sustainable Travel and Efficient Mobility Society, and Additional Project Director of KfW driven Sustainable Land Management Project, where I work to blend innovation and policy for sustainable development.
    Beyond my professional life, I’m an avid reader of non-fiction, drawn to ideas that explore the interplay between technology and humanity. I unwind by dancing, cooking, and diving into movies—proudly a Shahrukh Khan fan! Travelling fuels my curiosity, hence I am super excited to be here in Vienna.     Ajay is a recognized leader in the fields of Startups, technology, and innovation, distinguished by his numerous accolades. He has been honored with the United Nations Environment Program Award for Low Carbon Mobility and the prestigious Global Energy Award from La-Monde France in Singapore. He was also selected as a Young Leader by the Young Leaders India France Club, an initiative established by French President Emmanuel Macron, and served as the tech Ambassador for La French Tech in India, advocating for innovation and startup development.

    In his current role as the Head of Technology and Innovation at Advantage Austria India- the Commercial Section of the Austrian Embassy in New Delhi, he created the India-Austria Startup Bridge, building strong ties between India and the Austrian innovation ecosystem.
