Maria Geir

Maria Geir started her career as an IT transformation consultant at Capgemini and gained international experience in large IT projects (oil & gas, banking). Recognizing the importance of interpersonal aspects in transformation processes, she extended her skills by becoming a psycho-social counselor. From 2007 to 2021, she drove the digital transformation of Erste Group as Senior P(r)M and Special Advisor. This included project portfolio management, internal communication agendas and strategic support of a management team. As an Agile Coach, SAFe Scrum Master and Product Owner, she was a trainer in the Agile Hub and initiator of “Erste Women in IT”. In 2021 she founded Octenticity, specializing in psychosocial risk management in digital transformation processes. Maria currently advises companies in the tourism, non-profit and public/social sectors and works with design thinking, lean mgt and systemic approaches. Moreover she is available as a key note speaker or trainer on digital transformation, psychological safety, intercultural competence and unconscious bias. As a workshop facilitator and executive coach she also incorporates elements from Lego Serious Play and other concepts that boost creativity and mindfulness.
