Govindram Seksaria Institute of Management and Research (GSIMR) was established in 1997. Shri G.S. Technological Society first setup SGSITS in the year 1956. It has been founded to strengthen the Engineering Education and later on looking onto the need of the hour, the society has also setup an independent Management Institute known as Govindram Seksaria Institute of Management and Research. GSIMR is affiliated to Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), Indore and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
