Teach For Austria

The life prospects of a child in Austria are still heavily influenced by the socio-economic status and educational level of their parents. Simply put: education is often inherited. To tackle this injustice, Teach For Austria trains top graduates from various disciplines through its Social Leadership Programm, also called Fellow Programm. These Fellows serve as pedagogical professionals in Austrian schools or kindergartens for two years.

As an organization, we prepare the Fellows for their roles in schools and kindergartens and provide ongoing support with professional training and coaching over the two years. This training is tailored to their individual needs and requirements. Through this process, they primarily enhance their leadership skills and acquire valuable 21st-century skills, enabling them to pursue successful careers in their chosen fields afterwards. A robust network of alumni and partners from the private sector, public sector, and entrepreneurship facilitates exclusive exchanges and supports individual career paths.
