Swiss Freelancers – The Federation for Freelancers in Switzerland

The Swiss Freelancers Federation, founded in 2020, aims to connect freelancers from all over Switzerland and give them more visibility: A showcase for the individual members and their services and to promote freelancing as a form of work in general. While freelancing – be it full-time or part-time as part of a work portfolio alongside part-time employment and/or family – is steadily growing in Switzerland as well, politics and the social system are still geared towards the traditional full-time employment relationship with a single employer. This is where Swiss Freelancers wants to start and advocate for the Swiss freelancer community. As a community, regular networking events for contacts and exchange with the peer group are on the plate. In addition, the federation aims to support its members with sample contracts and a freelancer charter, not least to secure professional relationships with the clients.
