What We're Looking For
We're seeking enthusiastic, reliable individuals who want to make a difference. Here's what we need:
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude with strong teamwork skills
- Available for all 3 days of Tech Summit (July 13-15, 2026)
- Excellent communication skills in English (other languages are a plus)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
- Willing to help with various tasks throughout the event
- Passion for technology, innovation, and helping others
- 18+ years old or student with university permission

Volunteer Responsibilities
Help us create an amazing experience for 45,000+ attendees across various roles and departments.
Registration & Check-In
Welcome attendees, help with badge distribution, answer questions, and ensure smooth check-in process. First impressions matter!
Session & Workshop Support
Assist speakers and moderators, manage room capacity, distribute materials, and ensure attendees find the right sessions.
Exhibitor Assistance
Support exhibitors with booth setup, answer their questions, direct attendees to specific booths, and facilitate networking.
Information & Wayfinding
Serve as a walking information desk, help attendees navigate the venue, provide directions, and answer general questions.

Simple Application Process
1. Submit Application
Fill out our volunteer application form with your details, availability, and areas of interest. Tell us why you want to volunteer!
2. Review & Selection
Our team reviews all applications and selects volunteers based on availability, skills, and enthusiasm. We'll contact you within 7 business days.
3. Orientation & Training
Attend a mandatory orientation session (online or in-person) where you'll learn about your role, responsibilities, and meet the team.
4. Event Day!
Show up on event day, receive your volunteer kit (t-shirt, badge, schedule), and start making a difference while having an amazing experience!

Frequently Asked Questions
Volunteers typically work 6-8 hour shifts per day during the 3-day event. We offer flexible scheduling with morning and afternoon shifts. You'll have breaks for meals and time to explore the event!
No prior experience is necessary! We provide full training and orientation before the event. All we need is your enthusiasm, reliability, and willingness to help create an amazing experience for attendees.
Yes! All volunteers receive complimentary meals, snacks, and beverages throughout the event. We have a dedicated volunteer lounge with food and refreshments available during your shifts.
Absolutely! Your volunteer pass gives you full access to all sessions, workshops, and networking events during your off-shift hours. We encourage you to make the most of the experience!
Tasks vary by role but may include registration support, session room management, wayfinding assistance, exhibitor support, attendee questions, and general event coordination. We'll match you with roles that fit your skills and interests.
Yes! We welcome international students. As long as you have the legal right to be in the country during the event dates and speak English well, you're welcome to apply. This is a great networking opportunity!
After completing your volunteer commitment, you'll receive an official certificate via email within 2 weeks. The certificate will detail your role, dates, and contribution to Tech Summit - perfect for your CV or LinkedIn!
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until all positions are filled. We recommend applying early to secure your spot. The final deadline is typically 30 days before the event, but spots fill up fast!
